Winter Hair Care — How to Protect Your Color and Extensions
Cold weather, indoor heat, static, and dry air all attack color and extensions. Here's the seasonal routine we teach every client.
Winter is deceptively brutal on hair — dry indoor air, static from wool scarves and hats, and reduced natural oil production. Here's the winter routine we teach every client.
Weekly bond-repair mask
K18 or an Olaplex treatment. Non-negotiable in winter.
Leave-in conditioner daily
Static-fighting, moisture-locking, and extension-safe.
Silk-lined hats
Wool hats and scarves shred the cuticle. A silk-lined hat prevents it.
Reduce heat styling
Warm air feels good but destroys cuticle in dry conditions. Skip a blow-dry when you can.
Book a gloss refresh
Cold weather fades tone faster than most people realize.
