Color Correction · Baton Rouge

Undo it properly, not quickly.

Box color that went green. Bands from years of root touch-ups. A blonde that turned orange three days after you paid for it. Correction is the most diagnostic work a colorist does — we assess what's actually on your hair, then stage the fix so your hair survives it.

What we correct

  • Box color and at-home dye you want out.
  • Banding and hot roots from repeated touch-ups.
  • Brassy, orange, or muddy blonde.
  • Patchy home lightening and uneven grow-out.
  • Over-processed, fragile ends that need a plan rather than more bleach.
  • Faded or unwanted vivid color.

Our approach

Correction starts with a required, complimentary consultation. We look at your color history, test elasticity and porosity, and identify what pigment is sitting where. Only then do we build the plan — and tell you honestly whether it's one visit or several.

Where it helps, we add bond-building treatments such as K18 during the service. Where a goal isn't safe yet, we get you to a beautiful interim result and schedule the next stage.

What to expect

Diagnosis first, color second.

Consultation (required)

Complimentary. Bring photos of your history if you have them, and photos of the result you want.

The appointment

Specialty color makeovers run four hours or longer, starting around $350–$500+. Complex cases are split across sessions.

After

A gloss refresh keeps the corrected tone even, and bond treatments every 2–3 weeks support recovering hair.

Corrections are handled by Kieu, our lead stylist. Once your color is even again, most clients move into balayage or blonding for easier upkeep.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do I need a consultation before a color correction?

Yes — a consultation is required. Correction work depends entirely on what is already on your hair, and we won't quote or book it blind. Color consultations at Infinite are complimentary.

What does color correction cost?

Specialty color makeovers start around $350–$500+ and run four hours or more. Complex cases may be split across multiple sessions, and your plan and estimate are confirmed at your consultation.

Can you fix box color or a bad bleach job?

In most cases, yes. Box color, banding, hot roots, over-processed ends, and patchy home lightening are the situations we see most often. What varies is how many sessions it safely takes.

Will my hair survive the correction?

Protecting integrity is the whole point of staging the work. We assess elasticity and porosity first, use bond-building treatments where appropriate, and if a goal isn't achievable safely, we'll say so and offer an alternative.
