Wash, brush, sleep, style — a step-by-step routine to protect your investment and get 12+ months out of premium hair.
Premium extensions can easily last 12+ months when cared for properly. Here's the exact routine we teach every client at their install appointment.
Wash
Sulfate-free, silicone-free shampoo and conditioner only. Wash 1–3 times per week — not daily. Apply shampoo at the scalp and let suds run through the mid-lengths; never scrub the bond area.
Brush
A loop brush is your best friend. Start at the ends and work up in sections, always supporting the roots with your other hand to prevent tugging on the bonds.
Sleep
Braid or low-pony before bed. A silk pillowcase drastically reduces friction and tangling overnight.
Style
Always use a heat protectant. Keep tools at or below 350°F. Avoid direct heat on any bond, tape, or bead.
