Vivid color is one of the most fun services on our menu — and one of the most misunderstood. Here's what actually goes into it.
Step 1 — Lift
Vivid pigment shows brightest on a very light canvas. Most vivids require one or more sessions of lift before color is applied.
Step 2 — Apply
Direct-dye vivids are hand-painted onto the pre-lightened hair and processed at room temperature.
Step 3 — Home care
Cool-water washes, color-safe sulfate-free shampoo, and washing 1–2× per week is the minimum. Every wash lifts vivid pigment slightly.
Timeline
Fashion vivids fade over 4–8 weeks. Most vivid clients book a refresh every 6 weeks.
