Different Types of Hair Extensions We Offer in Baton Rouge

K-Tip, hand-tied wefts, tape-in, and i-tip — every method we install at Infinite, side-by-side, so you know exactly which one fits your hair and lifestyle.

We install four professional extension methods at Infinite Hair Studio, and the honest answer to "which is best" is always: it depends on your hair, your goals, and your maintenance appetite. Here's a plain-English breakdown of every method we offer.

K-Tip (keratin bond) extensions

Small individual strands attached with a heat-activated keratin bond. Best for medium to thick hair, undetectable at the part line, and ideal for clients who want length, density, or both. Moveups every 8–10 weeks; premium virgin Slavic hair lasts 12+ months with proper care.

Hand-tied wefts

A row of hair sewn onto a fine cotton thread, then beaded into place. Delivers seamless volume for fine-to-medium hair without bulk. Moveups every 6–8 weeks; the same weft is reused for 2–3 cycles.

Tape-in extensions

Pre-taped wefts sandwiched around thin sections of your natural hair. Fast to install, flat against the head, and great for a first-time extension client. Moveups every 6–8 weeks.

I-Tip (micro-bead) extensions

No heat, no glue — individual strands pulled through a small silicone-lined bead and clamped closed. Perfect for clients who want the versatility of individual strands without any adhesive.

Which one is right for you?

That's exactly what your consultation is for. Every new extension client at Infinite starts with a 30-minute in-person consult ($50, not applied to your install) so we can assess density, texture, and lifestyle before recommending a method.
